Sales Analysis reporting can be sorted in order of item by customer or customer by item, and in detail or summary fashion.

Or, you can sort the reports in many additional combinations, such as:

  • Salesperson
  • Customer type
  • Range of customers
  • Item category
  • Range of items
  • Range of invoice dates

The Detailed Item Activity Report allows you to produce information in any of the following combinations:

  • Vendor type
  • Category
  • Discounts
  • Commissions
  • Item code sequence

Each report includes unit and dollar amounts, cost of goods sold, and gross margins including percentages. These features allow you to tailor reports to print only the relevant information you need.

Monthly summary reports use all the features of the sales analysis reports while adding the ability to produce monthly breakdowns for any six month period. This sales trend analysis capability is limited only by your disk capacity. Other reports provide detail commission information which helps you track who your most productive people are.

A straightforward approach provides an overview of a salesperson's activity by creating a master file which contains and tracks:

  • A unique three digit salesperson code
  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Employee number
  • Commission percentage
  • Complete commission history listing commission earned, commission paid, total sales and cost of sales.
