Accounts Receivable

The Next Level's Accounts Receivable manages receivables for a wide range of businesses, including wholesale, retail, and service businesses.

Detailed customer information is maintained, which includes multiple tax codes, statement cycles, and current and previous period history summaries. Highly advanced customer reporting allows multiple selection criteria and may include sales and cost-of goods-sold totals.

Customer inquiry functions enable you to locate customer information based on partial entry of the customer's name. Complete invoice, payment, credit memo, and adjustment information appears, including open and fully applied transactions. This inquiry feature provides total customer credit exposure, giving your credit manager important credit approval guidance.

Invoice and credit memo entry is quick and simple. By accessing information from other parts of the system, keystrokes are minimized and chances of error reduced. Accounting integrity is ensured by requiring distribution detail to match the invoice/credit memo total.

Audit and activity reports are produced before posting to the General Ledger.

Customer statements are printed according to statement cycle, range or customer numbers, customer type, and minimum balance. In addition, finance charges are automatically calculated and applied to the specified statement cycle. Manual entry of finance charges is also accepted.

Cash receipts may be applied automatically to the oldest open items or manually to specific invoices. Also, automatic payments can be manually reapplied to specific invoices. Deposit slips may be printed and used for bank deposits, eliminating errors in manual slip generation.

A wide variety of aged receivable reports are included in Accounts Receivable. The available selection options include statement cycle, range of customer numbers, salesperson, customer type, and amounts exceeding a minimum balance. All reports may be produced in detail and summary formats.
